Is the Berk DAC

still considered to be the best available via Lynx card? I'm keeping up with ext. word clocks, and the Berk DAC doesn't have the capability of using any other work clock other than on the Lynx card. I'm getting real close to the point of being able to bite the bullet on a world class dac. Amarro's Model Four looks good also, plus ADC (for converting vinyl if desired), and has a word clock too, all for $1k less. Thoughts on which direction I should go here? Ive heard the Berk DAC thru NAS drive, and Pass Labs class A amps directly from the DAC, no pre. Sounded really good, though needed Amarra's magic
