.aif in JRMC

can JRMC play .aif files bit perfect, or should I go with wav? sorry if this question is very fundamental, I'm still learning.

The actual version of JRMC 14 does play AIFF (16 and 24 Bit) natively absolutely bit true and does read “ID3” tags and does show Album Art (when it is included in the file, and not only in the iTunes library). It does the same (ID3 and Album Art) even in Wave Files, if they carry the “broadcast extension header”.
