oneartist
I have two M700's fed by Direct Stream DAC w/Bridge II. My Magnepan 3.6's gloriously produce effortless music. Matias 1 Link to comment
oneartist
PSAudio is flexible on their pricing structure. If you buy from them directly you can always trade up to a newer model and get full credit for what you paid on the old one. Or, you can buy the pair of $3000 PS Audio M700 mono blocks for $1900 like I did from HighPerformanceStereo.com. When I crank these amps up, my Magnepan 3.6's sound amazing. For the price, I don't think you can do better than the M700's. I'm sure the PS Audio S300 can be had for a similar discount. Link to comment
oneartist
Paul of PSAudio says the M700's are about 90% as good as the 250's but the 250's are more than twice the price. The M700's are just fine for my ears. They are in total control of my big Maggies. Link to comment

But the Stellar power amps do not have volume controls. So the gain cell has fixed gain. I use the A700 with the PSAudio DSD as a pre. I've compared it to a lot of very good amps and it handles my big maggies effortlessly. The class A gain cell design works very well. Link to comment
