Jim B
iTunes 12.2.1 has a new preference that put a shock into me. I had just rebuilt my iTunes because it had become unusably slow (per Kirk's instructions in Kirksville). Afterward an error message told me I didn't have music for 23 of the albums, I decided to just fix the album art from my copy of CDpedia (highly recommended). When I decided I was satisfied (or resigned) with the results, I though I would then re-import my iTunes music into CDpedia and Pocketpedia on my iPhone. When I tried to do this, I realized the iTunes Music Library.xml file was missing. This is a "feature" in iTunes 12.2.1. Go to Preferences>Advanced to turn it back on. This checkbox is a privacy feature. Without the iTunes Music Library.xml file other apps, like CDpedia, cannot use the iTunes information. Link to comment
