Light Harmonic (LH Labs). Scam? USD$6 million not delivered since 2014

Have any of you used the IEM-X headphones with other devices?  Since we don't have our Wave players, I was thinking about getting the FiiO M11.  I ran across an adapter on amazon that appears to convert the LH Labs' 3.5mm balanced IEM-X to a 4.4 balanced that would then work with the M11.

Do you guys think that would work? 

 

(and any thoughts on the M11 or other recommendations would be appreciated).

You would think it would be in Indiegogo's interest to maintain customer confidence. Maybe we need to make more noise about the scam so they pay attention.

 

It hasn't completely soured me on crowdfunding in general.  However, I am Much more hesitant, especially with large ticket items.  $10 to $20 for a deck of cards, special phone case / clip, digital file of a book, that's not as significant if i lose it.  Buying VR glasses, fancy tools, new tech batteries, new phone, audio players...  Well, 1) that's often too much to lose, 2) I've had to cut back significantly on my crowdfunding support for financial reasons, and 3) if I really think about it, most of the time I'm fine with what I have. 

 

If I got my $ back from this project, it'd be like getting a couple extra paychecks.  Would go toward a lot of things.
