Rotel amplifier and fuses amperage?

Don't know the voltage in Hong Kong.  220 volt for some outlets and 100 volts for others is that correct?

 

Okay 10 amps x 100 volts would be 1000 watts.  Your amps says it can draw 400 watts.  So 10 amp cord is fine.

 

If you run it off of 220 volts then 10 amps x 220 volts is 2200 watts.  Even better.

 

So in either case a power cord rated for 10 amps should be no problem for amp or wall outlet using your amp.

This is for 120 volt versions.  Nothing over 8 amps in the power supply. These fuses should be the same regardless of voltage from the wall.  There is a switch for 230v vs 120 v operation.  So if he is talking internal fuses then 13 amps is not smart.   If it is a fuse that is part of the power cord no point in 13 amp over 10 amp.  One is not going to be better than the other.  So to answer his question, yes 10 amp will be good enough.
