Win Server Core Driver Support

Hi,

 

Win Server 2016 in GUI mode may update the mobo drivers through Internet automatically. Can something similar be done in the core mode?

 

Can I use the updated mobo drivers in the GUI mode to update the mobo drivers in the Core mode?

 

The inability of switching between GUI mode and core mode in Win Server 2016 makes life difficult. According to the setup guide of AO, the mobo drivers should be updated as far as possible. Any methods to overcome the difficulty of updating the mobo drivers?

 

What would happen if most of the drivers are not updated?
