Any comparisons of any LPS to the SOtM battery PS? Curious because I'm gonna use the uRendu with it (when it finally ships to my direction).

Ok, now I'm curious on the difference between the JS-2 and Sonore SPSU. Although I'm pretty happy with my SOtM mBPS-d2s.

#4 actually is quite predictable since you have typical "Ethernet packet noise" as far as I understood. And when you've removed your LAN cable it reduced number of packets to 0 while mR still trying to ping the server (1 sec interval). But the question is why your mR pushes that noise over USB...

Has anyone had the chance to compare the Sonore Signature PSU and the JS2 with the microRendu? I'm sure they're both superb, just curious.

I'm looking for that comparison also

I got the sonore signature PSU today, 1st impression compare with cheap ifi PSU. Very clean background almost noise free.. less dynamic, smaller headroom. Will give it couple of day to burn it and see how it go.

stvc, thanks for your feedback! Less dynamic, smaller headroom than with ifi PSU?

Hi jtrelin! Be careful with the tube preamp since you have a really transparent path including the powered monitors. The tube preamp most likely will blur everything and make it sound dirty.

Pay no attention to him. He clearly knows little to nothing about audio to have made that statement. Any decent quality or better tubed preamp will only add to the quality of overall sound in your system. A high proportion of the world's finest high end systems make use of tubed preamps and power amps.

Yes, you know everything obviously.

What I know is when I've tied to incorporate the tube pre from Quad, my monitors (Focal Twin 6BE) threw avery bit of distortion and dirt which tube amp had. But whatever since you decided that I know nothing about audio.

My Vinnie Rossi MINI arrived today and is powering my µRendu as I type this. ;-)

So any findings already?
