Best connection

Recommended Posts

From the horses mouth (private email from Auralic sent to me approx a year ago):

"The ARIES will sure coming with Gigabit Ethernet function and you can

choose from using either one or both. And you are correct on the connection, the

best way may use the USB connecting ARIES and VEGA so you can stream bit-perfect

DXD, DSD and DSD128".

I know you stated redbook and standard res, but they seem to think their USB implementation offers the best connection.

I use an Aurender N100 which only has USB and it sounds excellent.

Best way to find out in your system is to try them all, most good cable people have a money back trial system.
