And also music files, do i have to keep them in ramdisk? kilroy Posted December 20, 2015 Share Posted December 20, 2015 From reading the manual it looks like you can load your music files into a RAM disk that you create. I'm guessing you then point your music player to these and start playing. I did not find any online examples of running Windows from RAM. Some sites say it's a great idea but just not possible with Windows. Maybe it's a different story for someone with advanced technical abilities, but for the common man, not so much. Maybe it works with Linux though. Another thing, if your RAM capacity is less than the size of the OS it seems it's just not possible anyway. That's my take, but I'm no expert either. Perhaps the poster from the other thread could explain further a possible Windows RAMdisk configuration, he seemed to think it was do-able. Link to comment

(Total size is around 24g after installed) along with foobar and JPLAY. It may need 32g ram at least. Ummmm interesting.
