mattjtaylor2809 Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Hi All, I'm not sure why but for the last 4 months (at least) the remote app on my iPhone 6 just doesn't seem to want to work properly via iTunes home sharing? I don't know why as it was always rock solid but it's now virtually unusable? I'm also having an issue with PureMusic (both 2 & now 3 are doing this) causing a long gap between songs & then cutting off the end of the song? I don't know if these two issues are connected but it's certainly detracting from enjoying my music. BTW - My iTunes library is on an external Samsung T1 SSD plugged into a late 2009 MM, via REGEN USB into a PS Audio NuWave DAC. Any help, suggestions would be really helpful. mattjtaylor2809 Posted December 7, 2015 Author Share Posted December 7, 2015 Hi jriver, yes it is, I did have some issues with it at the start, i.e. recognising the external SSD but I've worked this out & removed the need for a password etc. I'm in the process of downloading El Capitan & will remove home sharing so I can connect the remote the old way, like my Apple TV with a passcode. I've also deleted all other "remotes: from within iTunes.
