Due to it's specifications a bit more expensive compared to other fiber patch cords:

  • 1.8 meter - Commscope TeraSPEED OS2 full spectrum, zero water peak single mode (ZWP-SM) LC/UPC to LC/UPC fiber patch cord, 1.6 mm duplex, 9/125µm, ITU-T G.652.D and G.657.A1 compliant (FFWLCLC42-JXF006)

There is a lot of discussions about what SFP to use but almost no information what FMC is used.

Currently I am using LevelOne GVT-2000 (FMC) - see below.

Would be interesting to hear what other users are using. So, what FMC are you using?

There’s a new firmware update for the Mikrotik CSS610-8G-2S+IN switch that many of us have.

I need a new switch. Does Finisar FTLF1318P3BTL work with Mikrotik CSS610-8G-2S+IN?

THX

These are the new switches I am currently looking at:

  • HPE - Aruba Instant On 1930 8G Switch (JL680A#ABB)
  • QNAP - QSW-2104-2S
  • ZyXEL - XGS1010-12

It would be great if anybody knows if they work with FTLF1318P3BTL.

Thanks

THX all :-)

As I don't want to replace my FTLF1318P3BTL let me rephrase the question:

  • What 8-10-12 port (LAN) + 2 SFP port switch will work with FTLF1318P3BTL?

Thanks

@jabbr Thanks for sharing your expertise here.

As my current switch - Cisco Meraki Go GS110-8-HW-EU - and SFP - Finisar FTLF1318P3BTL - are End-Off-Life, the time has come for an replacement (upgrade).

A new switch with dual rate (SFP/SFP+), 8-12 ports, no need for PoE, fanless, and some new SFP/SFP+?

THANKS for any suggestions and have a nice WE

Maybe I am missing something ... but just because they wont make Go products any more doesn't mean the existing ones are no good.  It seems your switch will serve its purpose until it dies.

I know THX - but I am still looking for new switch and SFP/SFP+
