Decibel vs Audirvana ???

Having tried lots of the players, my descending order of preference is:

 

Pure Music; Audirvana; Amarra; Decibel; BitPerfect; vanilla iTunes.

 

However, in truth this means nothing more than that in my system, to my ears, with the type of sound I like, I have reached that conclusion. You will get many who would vehemently disagree with my order of preference, for very good reasons. I am not sure if many would suggest Decibel sounds better than Audirvana though, but in your system, who knows. (Decibel was the first "bit perfect' player I purchased and it was very reliable)
