Cebolla Posted November 1, 2014 Share Posted November 1, 2014 Not even the iPhone 6 and iOS 8 natively support the 'near' CD quality codec for Bluetooth, aptX. So you're stuck with much lower than CD-quality normal Bluetooth on the iPhone, unless you can get an aptX Bluetooth transmitter adapter for it. You are really much better off using AirPlay, rather than normal Bluetooth, as that streams at CD resolutions (16/44.1 ALAC format).
