czapp
I've just started using XLD, and had a few questions. I've noticed big swings in the copy speed. I have it set on automatic with no limit on the speed. Is a slower copy speed more accurate than a fast one? Also, I had several problems when I used Autorip. At least one song per cd got hung up, and had to be cancelled, and redone. Is using Autorip a major improvement? Are there other ripping programs that are recommended? Thanks for the help. What are you actually trying to achieve (copy speed)? Are you ripping CDs or what? Link to comment

Dreaming Jester
I rip with Drive Speed Control set to Automatic too. I have no problems whatsoever except for occasional tracks flagged 'NG' which probably is not related to the speed. Do you mean AccurateRip? Link to comment

Dreaming Jester
No problem. 'AccurateRip™ furthers Audio CD ripping by verifying ripped tracks against an Internet database, making sure they are error free.' Your problems are likely not related to AccurateRip. What about the condition of your CDs? Link to comment
