Bon Jovi - New Jersey 24/96 Download From Acoustic Sounds

Recommended Posts

I picked this up last night and am pleased with the SQ of it compared to the Red Book version I own. The Red Book always seemed overly compressed sounding and can be confirmed by its DR8 value for the whole album.

This 24/96 version sounds much improved and brings out the soundstage details previously unheard. A good buy for those into this type of music.

Glad you're enjoying it, but I assume you are comparing it to the 90's remastered CD, which added a significant amount of compression compared to the original release. The original 1988 CD comes out as DR13. The 90's remasters weren't the worst of the decade - they were listenable, but they were compressed.
