datman Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 Recently, my Windows 8.1 computer stopped seeing my Sonore server as a network device. I can access mpd and vortexbox by ip address. I can't get to the files folder over the network to add additional music files. I haven't been able to figure out how and why this happened. I need to get this back as I have a lot of music to copy over. cjf Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Are you able to Ping the Sonore server's IP Address from the Win8 machine? How would you access the server previously or how did it show up on the network previously? If its pingable, try accessing the Share via IP instead.
