kumakuma
Recently discovered a trio album by 3 French (one of the being Italian actually), where they only play cover songs of the late 1960s: Flower Power*– Télécharger et écouter l'album Ever wanted to hear "Je t'aime, moi non plus", "Mr Tambourine Man", or "Bridge Over Troubled Water" played by a Jazz trio? This is for you. Quite well recorded as well. Worth checking out. My wife would like you to stop discovering new music. It's killing our budget. kumakuma
Yes, on the CamJam website in mp3 and WAV. Do you have a link? I did a quick Google search but couldn't find it. kumakuma
No Way Out - Giovanni Mirabassi Bad news: I just noticed that is previous album on CamJazz, VivaVerdi, is also only available as redbook on Qobuz. So maybe there won't be a highrez version released of this either. Thanks, I appreciate it. I assume from the discussion that it is in 16/44.1 format. The page doesn't seem to say. I wonder why they went with WAV as their lossless release format. Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley Through the middle of my skull Link to comment
kumakuma
I haven't downloaded it yet, but just assume that WAV without furher mention is redbook. Why WAV beats me as well. Thanks. BTW, have you checked out Sound Liaison's new release? Only a duo (bass + piano) but very tasty: IMPROMPTU Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley Through the middle of my skull Link to comment
kumakuma
(normally they notify me of new releases but for some reason I did not get a notification, anybody...?). Thanks for sharing. I didn't get a notification either despite owning all of their releases Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley Through the middle of my skull Link to comment
kumakuma
Please check your Junk mail folder. There was mine ! Roch I eventually received an email from them. According to Frans de Rond, they put it up on the website for testing and sent the notices out the next day. I'm cool with both kinds of posts. I'm constantly discovering music that I should have been listening to for the last 40 or 50 years.
