A "go to thread" for specific streamer UPnP settings for JRiver

Does such a thread exist?

 

If not can I start one?

 

I'd like UPnP boffins to post their most tested and robust JRiver UPnP settings for all the common UPnP streamers out there>

 

So that *every* file. No mater what you throw at JRiver.. 24/192 DXD, DSD, 5.1, Flac, AIFF and combos of same..whatever..every file plays to it's best ability and max resolution to the streamer.

 

I'm interested in stable settings for the following:

 

Oppo 103/105

Linn DS

Sonos

Sonore Rendu

 

Feel free to add settings and/or devices.

 

Please state whether you are using JRiver for Windows or OSX and the version

Ok thru trial and error, (on my network anyway) the following settings work and play pretty much any file I can throw at each player. DSD, PCM up to 24/192, stereo and multichannel…

 

I'm using OSX

 

LinnDS and Sonos:

 

Mode: Specified output only when necessary

Format: MP3 high bandwidth

Advanced: Stereo downmix checked

Sample Rate same as source

DLNA checked

DLNAExtra checked

 

Still working on the Oppo… for some reason I can't get it streaming multichannel.. and I'm getting a lot of "static"….
