I think this is the only download I've bought that I don't like: It was on sale for $4 or something. That guy's smile melted my heart and I couldn't say no. Moosbrugger Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 Don't you find that if the volume is high enough to hear the soft parts, the loud parts are blaring? I'm looking at the BSO site. For this album, they offer MP3, AIFF (Stereo), WMA (Stereo), and WMA (Surround). I assume if I get the WMA (Surround), I can use XLD to convert it into ALAC to play through a 2 channel system? I already have the cycle from the Philadelphia Orchestra, Kleiber's 5 & &; a terrific new recording of 5 & 7 from the NY Philharmonic and an LSo recording of 3.
