Mister Wednesday
Greetings all, An article on The New York Times website regarding the use of microphones and amplification in live opera productions: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/30/arts/music/wearing-a-wire-at-the-opera-secretly-of-course.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 Regards, Mister Wednesday Link to comment
Boris75
I am reassured to read that the wiring is for broadcast and not for amplification (though I don't like the exceptions the MET made for Fafner in Rheingold and the mandolin in Don Giovani - this could be the thin end of the wedge).
