This is a list with comments, sorted by sound quality and also by brand name, of headphones I've purchased and used for my main listening for a period of time, in the case of the Senn HD-800 for 3 years. I made my evaluation based partly on neutrality, and partly on musicality with a variety of genres. The no.1 item didn't win on ultimate detail, but won easily on both neutrality and musicality.
