Hurricane Sandy - Suffering Withdrawal from my music!

Recommended Posts

Ever since the Hurricane hit us here on the East Coast I have been without power. Like many others , we are not living, we are in survival mode.

I was forced to move over a year ago and so my system is boxed up. I still listen to music in the car, at the computer and especially when I work out. that portable system consists of a Sansa Fuse + player and ultimate Ears UE 350 headphones.

This player can play FLAC files with redbook specs. Lately i have been spending time in the library with my old mac powerbook G4 A1138 which was my music server in a incredible high end audiophile system.

With the mac, my external drives and the UE headphones, I am again enjoying music as this is the only activity I can be engaged in that was part of the normal routine that has been interrupted.

For the future and when I can get my system back up, i now have a mac mini 2010 that will be the transport.

Fidelia is my first choice for a software player and i look forward to J. River Media Center for Mac OS X.

Liz
