Anyone else try Roger's IC test?

Heaven knows that I am not trying to start a debate, but I thought I would report my findings. I gave it a shot and sure enough I couldn't reliably tell the difference between 4 different ICs of various designs and construction, priced between free and 400.00. I could tell the difference between the digital leads, though. It was easy to pick out the Nordost Silver Shadow over the Wyde Eye and the Belden. My wife heard the same thing. My Newfoundland dogs abstained.

 

Maybe its my ears, maybe its the Pass amp. I always figured I could tell some difference, at least with the carbon model. I certainly can tell the difference between transports, etc., so I don't feel I have completely lost it.
