I guess one would expect them to sound the same but I have a preference for the recent HDtracks release. It seems more focussed than the other two. Listen to the bass drum on the introduction to Track 1 (Morph The Cat). Why they seem to sound different I don't know. I guess they must have all been sourced from the same master. Anyone else made these comparisons? Link to comment
AudiophileWanabe Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Possibly they are different masters of the same mix, with different EQ and Loudness. If you use Foobar2000, you can use the DR Meter plug-in and confirm (or not) that in fact they are different. Link to comment
