Don't think so.

I have both Audirvana plus and MOG open (via Chrome browser rather than the rubbish Mac desktop app) at all times..

As Audirvana plus hogs the audio if the last track was lossless... I have found I have to ensure I open a radio station via iTunes briefly to force Audirvana Plus to "release" control. Then all good and MOG works!

I use RealVNC server on a headless MacMini 2011 (Mountain lion) and control with either iPad (Remoter - fantastic VNC app) or using RealVNC Win7 client on bootcamp'd MacBook Air. Works beautifully.

Not sure if this helps.

Is there a way to play MOG through the Audirvana Plus software?

AFAIK, eternaloptimist is correct. However, Pure Music has a "playthrough" feature that will do what you want.
