mdewire
I downloaded the new Joe Walsh Album Analog Man that was available at 48/24. The files are actually 96/24. I am not sure if HD Tracks got it wrong on their listing or maybe they made a last minute change on file quality. The album sounds pretty good but it is too compressed in my opinion. It is like all of the tracks are normalized to the max. Rat44
Sad to hear this. I was hoping the HD Tracks version would be decent. Heard the CD and it wasn't very pleasant . Wonder how the vinyl version compares ? Link to comment
mav52
Put it this way, I have the CD and the download from HDTracks and the CD sounds a lot better on my equipment. I like Joe Walsh but this CD was not his best work. The Truth Is Out There Link to comment

To digital or harsh. The Truth Is Out There Link to comment
