audiophile65
I have heard that Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's (MoFi) UltraDisc CDs that have come out since year 2000 or so do not sound nearly as good as MoFi UltraDiscs from the late 80s and 1990s. Is this true? I would appreciate any comments from anyone who has purchased newer MoFi UltraDiscs regarding their overall AQ. Thanks. Link to comment
mwheelerk
I have bought many of the newer MoFi titles over the past several years and I don't know if there is a specific title you have heard or read about but for me as a general statement I am very satisfied with all that I have. Though dynamic range in and of itself is not the only determiner of sound quality I can say that I have evaluated all of my MoFi titles for dynamic range and in general an equal number both pre and post 2000 have strong ratings of DR13 or better which are certainly much better than typical releases since 2000.
