watchnerd
Is there anything out there that will let me use iTunes / Airtunes the way the Airport Express does, but can take a wifi signal output something better than the old 16/44 used by the Airport Express? The Computer Audiophile
Hi watchnerd - Nothing that I am aware of will work with iTunes in the same way as an AE. You could go the Transporter route but I'm not a fan of it. Really bad interface and the sound in my opinion is less than stellar. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
watchnerd
I'm not a fan of the Transporter for the UI reasons you mentioned. Plus it looks sort of janky. With AE, is it correct to assume that if I use the optical out, it does no D/A conversion and just puts out a 16/44 LPCM stream into my processor?
