Hello to everyone, I would like to share my issue using a MacMini late 2012 (updated to last Sierra) and a HRT Music Streamer III. I have preset my output sample rate to 44.1 kHz 16 bit 2 ch in the Audio MIDI Utility. When I turn the Mac on, the led on the streamer is on Mute. When I start playing music (with iTunes) the minimum sample rate led lights up. ONLY IF I disconnect and reconnect the USB cable (even before playing music), the correct (preset) sample rate led lights up. From now on, any change I make in the the Audio MIDI output has an impact on the streamer (the associated led lights up). Even if I restarted the Mac, the behavior keeps normal. The problem occurs if I turn the Mac off, then on. I made several test on a PC, and the Streamer seems to work well. I have also tried plugging the Streamer to different USB ports. After several correspondence with HRT support center, Kevin Halverson states this should almost certainly be a corrupted OSX. Did you have any similar experience? Thanks a lot Gabriele

Hello! I have had my MusicStreamer II for some time connected to my laptop with a simple USB. After moving to a new apartment I had to buy a Supra 12m cable because my system is further away from where I sit with my laptop. Despite the reassurances from the company that they have managed to create such a long cable that actually works, it doesn't work for me. When I connect it to my laptop I got a message saying that it is an unrecognised device. Since I am pretty much a newbie I don't know what the problem could be. One guess that I have is that since the DAC is being powered by the USB, the Supra cable cannot provide enough power to it due to the length. Does it sounds logical? Anybody with any suggestions for possible fixes? Thank you in advance.
