As I was skimming through old magazines looking for early stereo equipments, I bumped into Ralph Glasgal's ( of Ambiophonics.org) article titled Music on Ice which he wrote about the role of phonograph and records being essential equipment to south pole explores. He contributed to hifi magazine 58 years ago and still contributing in many audiophile forums. He is also a member in this forum. Also checkout about Trimensional -Balanced Stereo Anywhere in the Room at page 12 addressing the problem with stereo.
