Fixth
Hello, I would like to play wav files from a laptop through my (unmodified) Quad 33/303. Would appreciate some advice on the best method to: 1. Maintain best quality sound and 2. Not spend too much money or break anything! Quad has phono inputs and laptop has USB and maybe optical outputs. Link to comment
scobek
I had to give my Quads up for adoption several months ago and not a day goes by without me thinking of my poor litte pups. Along with a pair of Rogers LS6s. Wow, that was a feckin' great system! Warm, woolly, and full of good loving. Perfect for digital. Anyway, the cheap and cheerful option I personally would take: just get a Musical Fidelity VDAC II (about £200). http://www.musicalfidelity.com/products/V-Series/V-DAC/V-DAC.asp 1. Connect the usb to your laptop 2. Connect the audio outs to either of your 33's Radio inputs (or Tape) 3.
