Two interesting columns in the August 2011 print issue of Stereophile magazine which just arrived via surface mail today.

 

Henry Rollins (yes, that Henry Rollins) is the guest columnist in the monthly As We See It column opening the August 2011 issue. He charts his journey on becoming an audiophile and why sound does matter.

 

Robert Baird's Aural Robert column closing out the August 2011 is an appreciation of Joe Ely's career in music and the music business. Check out the very last paragraph in this piece.

 

These two August 2011 columns are not yet on the Stereophile website.
