chrisvs Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 Have old Imac G5 (2GHz) running OSX 10.5.8 Wish to use as music server. Attempted to install Seagate GOFlex that has been formatted for Mac and full of music. But my Imac did not 'see' it. Suggestions? Thanks Chris Chris Link to comment
wgscott Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 Open /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app and see if it "sees" the unmounted drive. If not, fiddle with the USB connections until it shows up. If it truly doesn't show up, check on another computer. If it doesn't show still, the problem is with the disk hardware. Link to comment
