Connecting my MAC Laptop to my CD player

I have a modright modded Sony XA5400ES cd player. Dan from Modwright is coming out with a switchable digital input for the cd player in a few weeks. I need a USB to SPDIF interface. Has anyone heard the Lindemann USB-DDC 24/192, Sonicweld Diverter 192, Wavelength Wave Link. Do you need to spend big bucks on say Sonicweld vs. others. I do want the best sound. Some of these interfaces are asynchronized and others are not. Any suggestions would be helpful.
