Help with Solarflare X2522 Card and Copper SFP Module

Hi,

 

I recently installed a Solarflare X2522 - 10G Card in my DIY server and both ports work fine with generic optical modules.

 

I need to use one port with a copper SFP. I got the Finisar FCLF8522P2BTL module which is listed as being compatible on the Finisar site but can't get it to work.

The lights on the X2522 don't come on for this port and the streamer connected at the other end also does not show the Link On light.

 

I tried with another Syrocare Copper module and this time the link light on the streamer come ON but no lights on the X2522 and no connection either.

 

I have confirmed both modules are OK on a Mikrotik HexS router where I am able to connect my laptop and another switch successfully to the router with a copper cable.

 

The X2522 has the latest firmware and both ports have been set for Ultra Low Latency using the Solarflare boot disk utility.

 

Would be grateful if anyone can help me with this.
