MusicCast - Anyone use it?

So I'm picking up a 7.2 Yamaha tomorrow and the ad copy boasts about something called MusicCast.

I'm a little confused as to what it is. 

 

I know there's something about wireless speakers involved. Does it have the ability to *add* speakers to an existing wired setup, or would each wireless speaker have to replace an existing wired speaker output?
