Will Marantz NA 7004 Receive and Play 24 Bit 192 kHz Apple Lossless Files Over Ethernet Using AirPlay

Hi there,

I am new to the forum so apologies if I get anything wrong! :-)

I currently have all of my music in iTunes on my iMac and stored as Apple Lossless files. This includes some hi-res tracks above 16/44.1. For convenience I wirelessly stream the music via Apple TV 2 using HDMI and TOSlink into my Yamaha 3900. I also use the Apple remote application on my iTouch.

Unfortunately Apple TV 2 outputs at 48kHz only so I am looking to get a set up that will pass the music through from iTunes (wireless or wired LAN) at full res using the Apple Remote app if possible (although not critical). I have been thinking about the Marantz NA 7004 the but am unsure if it will accept the hi res files from iTunes.

Can anyone offer any advice on this and/or suggest possible alternative products that would help me to achieve my goals? Any help is greatly appreciated!
