Hello

I currently use Audirvana studio under 1 Pc of control under windows 11 Pro which sends on a 2nd PC under Gentoplayer HQPE and to a Holo DAC connected in USB

- AMD 4600G
- 16 GB DDR4 memory
- Music stored locally on 1TB SSD

it sends the stream to 1 second Pc under Gentooplayer/HQP embedded to do DSD 512 convolution with the appropriate filters

this PC is on an AMD basis also

- AMD 5700 G
- 32 GB DDR4 CAS 14 memory

I wanted to know if the HQPE settings are ok

for the 1st Screenshot,

at the top of the configuration c is BACK END

- Alsa?
- Network Audio

at the bottom of the HQPE parameterizations

we have

- ALSA Back end
Device: DAC HOLO
Network Audio
Device gentoplayer DAC Holo

Which one should I use?

thank you for your feedback

As your Dac is directly connected to your HQplayer server via USB, you need to select ALSA for your output method.

At the bottom, in the ALSA configuration, you select the Holo Dac.

The Network Audio settings are not used in your setup.  These would be used only if you would make use of a NAA (Network Audio Adapter).  This has ethernet in/usb out. More info athqplayer's website signalyst.com

hello

thank you for your feedback

so if I understood correctly the use of network Audio will be used in the integration of Diretta Reference DST 00

Control Pc 1 under windows 11 Audirvana Studio with Card Jcat NETCARD XE

I will have to use Streaming instead of Alsa in the Audirvana settings

will be connected to the Audio Pc under Gentoplayer/HQPE via Card Jcat NETCARD To Reference DST 00 Diretta which itself will be connected in I2S to DAC Holo Spring 3 Level 2

thank you for your answer
