Sorting - has Conductor always had this?

I was playing around this morning & tapped on the SSD in my A20, which has 1,400 CDs on WAV files.

Its been a long time since I looked at that drive because Conductor has problems displaying them.  

I was surprised to see 3 icons in the upper right corner I've never noticed before, one of which lets me sort by artist, album, release year or release tear (descending). It looks like Conductor applies that to the combined contents of my SSD and Qobuz libraries. Is this new with V4, or has it always been there?    

 

If its always been there I owe Aurender an apology because I've been pestering them for a year it.  My only excuse is I never look at screen any more.

Can the sorting function also be used on the contents of playlists?
