This is one of the pieces of gear that really impressed me at any price point. I have heard DACs that cost thousands that do not sound as smooth as this unit. There is absolutely no fatigue during long listening sessions. If you are looking for a highly analytical DAC, then look elsewhere. I hate to sell it, but we are empty nesters and downsizing, so the audio closet is being cleaned out.
