The Magenta SA-2s speakers have a 2.5-way configuration implemented with lightweight diaphragm high excursion transducers and a carefully designed crossover network. To avoid resonances that can affect the sound quality, the cabinet is constructed of a high-density material with a very rigid wooden front. The transducers have a carbon fiber paper membrane hardened with a low mass resin that provides low distortion and high internal velocity to maintain harmonic integrity. The crossover network is a core part of our loudspeakers, as it makes the transducers or horns operate in the optimal parameters aligning the time and phase of the signal. As well as the correct intensity of each one to achieve a linear response and realistic, generating the characteristic sound of Margules.
