Piano 2.1 dac problem

Sunfish

Question

I'm using Moode audioplayer on a RPi 3B+, with a kali reclocker and topped with a Piano 2.1 dac.

Up till this morning everything was working fine, no alterations were maded in between

Restarting the system today no sound was comining oiut of my speaker. Fiddling around I found out that the sound was coming from the Sub Right and Sub Left RCA jacks.

In the start up log I did find the following line(s):

[     9.982595] snd-allo-piano-dac-plus soc:sound: snd_soc_register_card() failed: -517
[   10.016662] snd-allo-piano-dac-plus soc:sound: snd_soc_register_card() failed: -517
[   10.996230] pcm512x 1-004d: supply AVDD not found, using dummy regulator
[   10.996617] pcm512x 1-004d: supply DVDD not found, using dummy regulator
[   10.996815] pcm512x 1-004d: supply CPVDD not found, using dummy regulator
[   11.004090] snd-allo-piano-dac-plus soc:sound: snd_soc_register_card() failed: -517
[   11.004956] pcm512x 1-004c: supply AVDD not found, using dummy regulator
[   11.005974] pcm512x 1-004c: supply DVDD not found, using dummy regulator
[   11.006225] pcm512x 1-004c: supply CPVDD not found, using dummy regulator

Anybody can shine a light on this?

Or is the simple conclusion that the card is dying?

thanks, regards

Wim
