arlese
Surprised there is no discussion for this raspberry pi player as I think it's the best one out there. After using Audirvana for years, dabbling with HQPlayer (terrible interface/library management), Roon (expensive, poor sound quality unless you marry it with HQP) and Volumio, I eventually landed on moOde and never looked back. Granted it does not have the upscaling features of HQPlayer but it blows Audirvana out of the water, super-fast library management and integration with Spotify and Airplay 1/2. Why is no one talking about this!? Link to comment
dericchan1
I ditched moode for hqplayer - I can totally live with hpqlyaer web viewer interface for library management and playlist selection. I would say moode is my favorite "free" app tho Link to comment
arlese
Guess if you can't live without upscaling there really is no alternative and the web viewer makes it tolerable. Still not as pretty and smooth an interface as moode and lacks the streaming features. I ditched audirvana because of the poor library management, choppiness when scrolling and often had to delete and reimport my library whenever I made a change or added new content. Link to comment
