get screen to work on Boss 2 with Volumio

I came across a few road blocks while getting this puppy up and running. I hope this post helps someone.

 

I pulled the SD card, and used Balena Etcher and the instructions on Volumio website for installing the SD card.

Got that dialed in, and I wanted the little screen to work.

Page 6 of 7 refers to the "Front panel Display/OLED configuration:"

You'll need to ssh to the volumio box. I used putty for windows. Username: volumio, password: volumio

After a few reboots, I couldn't get back in to dig up some info for this post, SSH had been disabled. You can reenable it by visiting:

http://192.168.11.89/dev

where 192.168.11.89 is the IP of your volumio player on your network, then you can hit "ENABLE SSH" bob's your uncle.
