Piano 2.1 + Volumio Sub Output Issue

I use Volumio and have recently changed to using the 2.1 function (L+R + single sub out) setup with the Piano 2.1. I have been into the Volumio Setup and set the Sub output filter but it doesn't seem to matter what Hz I set it to the filter doesn't appear to be doing anything. The sub output is working but from what I can tell the filter isn't working and I am getting the full sound spectrum being sent to the Sub?

 

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well now there's a new problem, as I have only just started testing the 2.1 setup these issues haven't been present before. Now whatsa happening is at some point during the music I get is full spectrum to the Sub (business as usual) and then FULL volume White noise to the L+R channel. The only reason I bought the Piano 2.1 originally was so I could run a sub and it's turning out to be a bad choose!

I have just set the Output in Volumio to 2.0 (Left + Right Channel only) and rebooted but I'm still getting an output from the sub just like when it was set to 2.1!
