SOLD: Pi2AES Mercury streamer/server

This is the original version of the already-legendary Pi2AES Mercury streamer/server/renderer, now discontinued.  Incredibly low-distortion, low-jitter I2S connection to your DAC.  You can read about the original version here:

The new model is getting a revamped HDMI connection.  The current HDMI version works with most DACs, including my Topping DX7 Pro.  My main DAC only has coax so that is what I have mostly used.  HDMI, coax, BNC and optical outputs all work simultaneously.  The sound is incredibly clean and crisp.  The Mercury supportsFor the money it would be hard to better this as an all-in-one streamer/server/renderer.  I am selling it because I have too many renderers on hand and as wonderful as this one is, it's a bit redundant in my collection.

Included in this package:

1) Mercury Streamer with Meanwell 12VDC power supply.

2) DXE-ISO-PLUS ethernet cleaner.  This inexpensive gadget does a great job of isolating the ethernet signal to the Mercury, resulting in even cleaner, clearer sound.

3) 1TB internal NVME drive for your music collection.

4) 32GB SD card with a *lifetime subscription* to Gentooplayer ($80 value), absolutely the best-sounding and most versatile operating system for the Mercury.  Pre-installed player options include MPD, Upmpdcli, Roon, HQ Player, Audirvana, Logitech Music Server, APlayer, Diretta playback system (extra purchase required) and much much more.  Gentooplayer also allows for many hardware and system tweaks that you can explore down the road.  I will provide the key code for GP in case you need to reimage the SD, which is sometimes required with major GP updates.

As shipped, the Mercury is configured for use with Audirvana or other UPnP/DLNA client.  It is also configured with Minimserver and Bubbleupnp as a standalone player/server for use with Kazoo or Lumin on your pad or phone.  This allows you to use a Tidal or Qobuz account as well as your own music.  The 1TB drive can be accessed via Samba or FTP (password root/gentooplayer) for adding music to your library.  You can easily change the player to Roon, HQ Player, etc.

Please note that technically the output is limited to PCM 192kHz.  Some people have been able to play native DSD64.  I don't have mnay DSD files so I have not experimented with this.  However, it will play DSD over PCM.

I am asking $500 for the whole package.  This includes Priority Mail shipping to anywhere in the US.  I will consider international shipping, but you'll have to walk me through it. ;-)
