Allo Digione playing DSD 256 tracks

Would like to know if there is limitation in playing DSD256 tracks from Allo Digione?

 

My connection Allo Digione with Volumio (DSD Direct setting)  > ifi Nano iOne > Schiit Vahalla 2

 

The music will drop out intermittence. The ifi iOne dac is capable to play track up to DSD 256.

In Volumio OS, DSD256 files are converting to PCM by MPD and uses more CPU resources (nearly 100% core usage). Can change the Playback Options Buffer Size  to 12MB  and Buffer before play to 40% to control some level.

Is there any limitation on the bandwidth for Spdif. Is the max 24/192? Not sure about the conversion DSD to PCM, will Digione able to handle DSD256 over PCM bandwidth?

Not supports DSD256 over PCM. 24/192k is the maximum on SPDIF.

Ok got it, so is the limitation of Spdif bandwidth. Guess i have to go for a usb transporter.
