Piano 2.1 + Moode 6.6+

Hi,

we have problem with Piano 2.1 DAC in new Moode audio 6.6 and 6.7.x with Linux kernel version 5.4.51.

It looks like driver of Piano 2.1 has some problem with new Linux kernel. Is there any possibilities that you look at it please?

+1 for this  - to add a few more details the 2.1 driver doesn't work at all though I attempted to add the additional firmware from your GitHub , MPD config doesn't recognise any i2s device available 
Stereo audio can be made to work using the non 2.1 Allo Piano driver so this confirms there is no hardware issue and the device also works with Moode 6.52 and earlier although there is a issue of settings not being saved after reboot
Happy to provide any additional info and to test any potential fix

I am also having same issue, piano 2.1 not working with moode6.6+ , as kernel is 5.4... 

When revert back to old moode 6.5.2 with 4.19 kernel., Everything normal.

Hello everybody,.

I have the same problem with RPI3, Kali and Piano 2.1 and kernel 5.4. Piano is not recognized with the plus drivers.

 

snd-allo-piano-dac-plus soc:sound: ASoC: Neither/both codec name/of_node are set for PianoDACPlus

 

I will try with a kernel 4.

Bug fixed in latest kernel,It will be there in next moode release.
