nbourbaki
Per the manual for the Onnto DataTale: Due to compatibility issues, if you use the eSATA interface to do the data transfer, the Silicon Image eSATA host controller is highly recommended I have two eSATA ports, I'm using a backplane bracket to convert two of my on-board SATA ports to eSATA. I'm interested in this enclosure, but only using the SATA connector. USB 2.0 would be way too slow and I only have firewire 400 on my computer. Has anyone used a standard eSATA port with this RAID successfully? Any gotchas to be aware of? Thanks in advance Link to comment
